Where are the three starting options?
Ekonta supplies the sword at the starting camp. The coastal tower chest contains the Rusted Spear, while the northern room of the underground key dungeon contains the Wooden Club. These are opening-route locations, not the full release weapon catalogue.

How do damage types help?
The opening guide associates sword, spear and club with slash, pierce and impact. Check enemy bestiary information while comparing them. A useful type match and a usable attack opening matter more than an invented damage percentage unsupported by current item data.
Why examine secondary attacks?
The spear’s secondary attack thrusts while moving you backward, which can help maintain distance. Other weapon specials have their own behavior and may use a special meter. Read the current equipment information rather than applying that retreating attack to every weapon.
